The Shibboleth Project and Consortium operate a number of mailing lists as our primary means of communication with members, a source of official project announcements, development discussion, and community support.
The full set of public lists and links to manage subscriptions can be found at https://shibboleth.net/mailman/listinfo
Please do not contact the project in order to manage mailing list subscriptions, as they are self-managing via email or the web address above. In the event you lose access to the address used to subscribe to a list but still require removal, you may contact the listowner address for removal.
The major lists are as follows.
A low-traffic mailing list that is used to announce new releases, security announcements and events.
A high-traffic mailing list for asking installation or deployment questions or receiving technical support from the Shibboleth community.
Note that this list is not officially monitored by the project team any longer and we encourage members to utilize the paid support options described on the Technical Support Options page.
Questions regarding OpenSAML should not be sent here, but to the dev list below, and are also addressed on a purely volunteer basis. We do not provide any official support for OpenSAML at this time.
A low-traffic mailing list where the project discusses ongoing development topics, or where individuals developing with OpenSAML, or developing plugins for or otherwise extending the Shibboleth software can discuss issues.
Note – this is not the place to ask “how do I use Shibboleth” questions. Use the users list (or the paid support options) for that.
